Brandon Ansell

Brandon Ansell is the Lead Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor at Impact Martial Arts. Brandon earned his Brown Belt under Rodrigo Vaghi in 2022. Brandon has been training under Team Vaghi since 2011. He has been involved in martial arts for over three decades and has trained in multiple disciplines. Brandon also holds a Green Belt in Judo under Awadallah Judo.

With over 18 years of experience in Law Enforcement and 5 years in Corrections, Brandon offers real life experience when it comes to violence and danger. As a certified Defense and Arrest Tactics Instructor at his respective Police Department, and holding certifications as a Krav Maga Worldwide Force Training Instructor and SPEAR Instructor, Brandon offers a unique perspective on personal safety from both the Law Enforcement and Martial Arts side.

Brandon is an active competitor in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. He can routinely be found both competing and coaching at competitions. Impact is grateful to have Brandon as a leader at Impact Martial Arts
