Tyler Buechel is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Rodrigo Vaghi.

Buechel began Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2019 to start losing weight and quickly fell in love with the sport. Buechel has lost over 155 pounds through training while gaining mental fortitude and a never-quit attitude.

Buechel’s first martial art was wresting at the age of five. He also has 3 years of kick boxing and a year of boxing experience, leading to two years of coaching experience.

Buechel is a leg locks specialist. Of Buechel’s 32 competitive wins, 20 are by submission.
